Fixed term, full-time opportunity available until October 2023.
Due to an internal promotion, this position has become available to provide administrative support that ensures the delivery of high-quality assistance for academics, research and professional staff, and visitors.
The Faculty Administration Officer provides administrative support to the research centres in the faculty as required, including event management, visitor arrangements, scheduling of meetings, preparing minutes and agendas. This position is located in a busy operational environment within the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics, and the incumbent will need to be able to respond positively and calmly to constant changing priorities and competing demands under pressure situations whilst maintaining work accuracy.
To be successful you will need:
- The ability to act with integrity and strive for excellence when dealing with others and undertaking tasks.
- Demonstrated experience providing a range of administrative services including handling correspondence, managing records and data.
- Demonstrated experience communicating, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional and responsive manner to deliver client centric results.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve required outcomes, in an environment with a high and varied work volume, strict deadlines, a wide range of stakeholders, and competing client priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
